Your assessment will be carried out by a trained nurse  and typically lasts 90 minutes to 2 hours. Here’s what to expect:
   1.    Introduction and History Taking:
We begin by discussing your concerns and taking a detailed personal, medical, and educational history.
   2.    The DIVA 5 Interview:
The clinician will guide you through a structured series of questions based on:
   •    Core ADHD symptoms in childhood (before age 12)
   •    Core ADHD symptoms in adulthood
   •    How these symptoms impact your daily life in areas such as home, work, education, relationships, and self-esteem
   3.    Collateral Information (if available):
If possible, we may ask a parent, partner, or close relative to provide supporting information about your childhood behaviours and current symptoms. This is optional but can strengthen the diagnostic process.

At the end of the assessment, the nurse will review your responses and determine whether you meet the criteria for a formal diagnosis of ADHD.
